Once it's done, have it delete everything it found in the Trinity folder.and after that, you should be good to go with bulk importing.Īs we know, RPG Maker MV brought in a nice character editor, also available in RPG Maker MZ. Now grab any duplicate file finding application (a free one I can recommend is ) and scan the folder containing both the Extended Generator AND the Trinity generator stuff. Then take your MV Trinity generator folder and copy it in the same folder with the Extended Generator. If you want to try my way, here's what I would recommend - take your current Extended Character Generator folder and make sure everything inside it is working correctly, any DLCs you bought are imported, no MV Trinity stuff is in it - put it in a new folder. The way I did it is by deleting still from the MV Trinity generator folder and then bulk-importing like normal.
Well, one-by-one is a way to do it (it will take a while, but you should be able to copy-paste the names from the list and use the Windows search to locate all files for the corresponding item fairly quickly. I'm sure there are other ways to do this, but when in doubt, just save important files, delete the program, and start fresh. Not sure if that will help, but it is worth a shot. This will allow you to reload all the resources from the RPG Maker generator folder. If you want to try again to clear it and re-import, go to Compatibility on the top row and click Erase All Database and resource. A small price to pay for now, and if/when I need to do children, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I don't have any "kid" outfits right now, because clicking on "kid" will just give you the adult assets I downloaded. I had to play around a bit to make sure colors showed up right, since you have to name them appropriately. I ended up saving all the kid assets that came with the game to a zip drive and replaced the contents from the RTP pack with my downloaded assets. When you go to upload the standard RPG Maker images, do that as it should, as you did the first time. I'd just delete the extended generator and reinstall. Here's some examples to show off what you can expect.Click to expand.I don't know if it will help, as I'm a noob too. I would recommend overwriting all files if you update from a previous version of my expansion. Simply merge the Generator folder into your RPGM MV installation directory. The assets are numbered starting from the last RTP asset so if you already added other assets you might need to rename them to prevent conflicts. Note some of my assets are designed to replace RTP assets. !45ZHmJ6Z!H7TJCd_gdyY6fHzKQl908A (click Download as ZIP in the top right) You can always get the latest version at one of the following links: No credit is required, but you can link back to where you found them if you wish. You may not redistribute or sell any of my assets by themselves. My assets won't always look right when mixed with RTP because I felt the default faces are a bit lopsided, but they should be fine as long as you stick to either mine or RTP per character.Īll of these assets are free to use both non-commercially and commercially in your projects. Please let me know if you run into any issues.
It also replaces the default RTP school uniforms with portrait images that match the sprites more closely. So far I've been focusing on female characters, but I will be creating male assets as well soon (although all of my stuff should be compatible with males as long you copy them to the respective male folders). My expansion currently features new hairstyles, eyes, eyebrows, mouths, noses and more. I've been working on expanding the RMMV character generation with new facial assets.
